A Word from Coach Stubbs
Welcome to the new home of Stubbs Infield Camps. I hope that you find my new website easy to navigate and find camp dates that work for you. I’m excited to have created a new relationship with Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club for my Youth Winter Camps. It is a beautiful facility and I’m excited about this new opportunity! I’ll make sure directions are posted on the website soon.

All camps this winter will focus on middle infield with an emphasis on double plays and the technique involved. I have purposely kept the camp descriptions generic so I have the freedom to work with the group of players I have.

I think it’s safe to say that over the years my camps have helped produce some of the top infielders in the state of Washington with a great number of these players going on to play collegiate and professional baseball. I can’t control certain attributes a player possesses such as strength, size, athleticism, work ethic, speed, arm strength, etc. I can control a player’s skill set. At the end of the day how much skill a player possesses will always be the deciding factor in his ability to climb the ladder of baseball. This is where my camps excel.

Hope to see you at camp!

Yours in Baseball,
Coach Stubbs

Reiten earns Player of the year & All-Area team honors

Long time Stubby Infield Camps alumni Cabe Reiten was named to the Tacoma News Tribune 2011 All-Area team and was named the Player of the year.

“It never did come natural,” Reiten said. “I came across a bird dog who scouted the area and he told me I had athletic ability and I needed to go to this guy name Bill Stubbs. For the Northwest, he is the top guy for infield. Ever since I’ve gone to him, everything has started coming.”
