About the Camps
What makes Stubby Camps different

How can one little camp produce so many infielders that go on to play college and professional baseball? It's easy, the system works. The kids that come to our camps are serious about getting better and improving. We pay attention to the smallest of details and then we drill and drill and drill. We work hard to enhance the skill level of each camper. The best ones take what they learn at camp and work hard on all the skills we teach between camps. We also provide a competitive environment and a chance to work with some of the best infielders.

We also believe one of the biggest differences is that we are honest with our campers. Good or bad, we tell the truth. We feel that we are doing the camper a disservice if we aren't up front and honest with them about their abilities at this time in their development. We let parents tell the kids how good they are, that's their job and ours is to tell the truth. Most camps are ging to tell the kids what they and their parents want to hear. Then when the time comes, and they really have to compte, what their parents think really doesn't matter anymore. We cant' promise to make your campergreat, but we will make them better.

"Over the years, Bill has been very instrumental in helping us develop our infielders. He has also sent us many quality players that have attended his camps. Many of which have played vital roles in our 16 National Championships."

Jeff Cirillo
Two time Major League All-Star

"I've worked with Coach Stubbs in the off-season for a good part of my career. His ability to break down infield play is outstanding and sets him apart from other infield coaches. The kids that come out of his camps are always very sound fundamentally and have great technique. This DVD will help anyone who buys it.

“I always thought of myself as an advanced infielder. At the first camp I went to, I realized that there are kids out there that are just as good as me and some that are much better. From that point on I wanted to go to every camp and soak up everything that you said. To this day I believe I am one of the best infielders in the minor leagues and much of that is due to the camps I attended. The skills that are taught are so far above anything else that people are teaching to kids that when the kids get these skills and showcase them in games and drills it really sticks out. Many of the infielders I play with do not posses some of the things that you are teaching to kids at very young ages. The camps teach you how to field the right way and also stress the fact to try and field like a big leaguer and do what they are doing on a daily basis not just to catch the ball and throw it but to do it the right way and look good doing it.”

Justin attended his first Stubby Infield camp at the age of nine.
